Whether you’re heading to see The Tempest or returning after the show for a final act of indulgence, our new theatre dining experience combines seasonal British cooking, exceptional local ingredients and warm hospitality in the heart of Stratford-upon-Avon.
Act One – Pre Theatre Dining
Begin your evening with two courses from our specially curated theatre menu, designed to deliver bold flavours and relaxed dining without feeling rushed.
Expect dishes such as sharing platters, Isle of Wight heritage tomato salad with smoked burrata, smoked salmon & prawn cocktail, pan fried Cornish sea bream and slow cooked shoulder of Cotswold lamb to share.
Menus celebrate the very best British produce with The Woodsman’s signature fire-led cooking and rustic style at the heart of every dish.

The evening doesn’t have to end when the performance finishes.
Guests can return to The Woodsman after the theatre for Act Two – a dessert and cocktail pairing inspired by The Mad King, now showing at the Royal Shakespeare Company. Alternatively, guests can enjoy this alongside their pre-theatre meal before the performance.

- Dracarys: A glazed passion fruit and raspberry mousse, inspired by the drama and intensity of the production.
- Wildfire: A smoky blend of mezcal, lemon, passion fruit, grenadine and soda.
